Parts (0) expand_more

These are small document-parts which are used in other documents. They are not a starting point for any real activity. Because of this, they will be listed further down and the search will not list them unless requested.

The template theme should help you get started quickly. At first you just want to install and build it, to be sure everything works, before you continue to customize.

Prerequisites

  1. You should have Oqtane installed and running on your PC - ideally in a best-practice setup [todo: create checklist]

Installation

  1. Download the template - either git-cloning or just downloading and placing it on your PC.
  2. Adjust the targetpath to match your setup in Build\scripts\config.cmd
  3. Build the theme - you should see something like this:
    debug build
  4. Run Oqtane (in case it was already running, restart it)
  5. Log on and go to Theme Management
  6. Verify that there is a Theme called

Troubleshooting

  1. Verify that you were building the theme in debug mode
  2. Verify that you restarted Oqtane after a theme-build (otherwise changes are not picked up)
  3. Verify Oqtane is running in debug (that's where the DLLs are copied to)
  4. Verify that the DLLs are copied to the places you expect
