The template theme should help you get started quickly. At first you just want to install and build it, to be sure everything works, before you continue to customize.
Prerequisites
- You should have Oqtane installed and running on your PC - ideally in a best-practice setup [todo: create checklist]
Installation
- Download the template - either git-cloning or just downloading and placing it on your PC.
- Adjust the
targetpath
to match your setup in Build\scripts\config.cmd
- Build the theme - you should see something like this:
- Run Oqtane (in case it was already running, restart it)
- Log on and go to Theme Management
- Verify that there is a Theme called
Troubleshooting
- Verify that you were building the theme in debug mode
- Verify that you restarted Oqtane after a theme-build (otherwise changes are not picked up)
- Verify Oqtane is running in debug (that's where the DLLs are copied to)
- Verify that the DLLs are copied to the places you expect
