Monkey Management is all about leading. It focuses on the manager being the enabler, guiding the team to solve the problems and not taking the task from them.
This ensure the manager has sufficient time to really do his work of empowering the team.
It treats tasks which tend to jump into the managers responsibility as Monkeys, which are brought by the employees. The manager then applies best practices to ensure the Monkey behaves, and that the responsibility for solving the task remains with the employee.
