Often volunteers bring soap bubbles for the children to play (or you purchased them in Africa) and now they are empty. Do not discard them, you can easily and cheaply refill them.

  1. Buy a clear, simple liquid soap for washing the dishes. It should be very simple. Here's an example we tested which we purchased in a Mini-Market in Arusha for 2500 TZS:
  2. Dilute (make it thinner) using water - probably 1:4 or 1:3 or 1:2 (more water than soap)
Use another container like a cup to mix with water - stir lightly with a spoon. Try to avoid it foaming, as it's easier to work with. You will probably need 1 part soap and 4 parts water, but less water works better. Try a few variations to find the perfect mixture.
  3. Refill the original containers with the new liquid

Congratulations - you have refilled your soap bubbles!
